Each
year, the staff at
Vincent Hester Gallery
will design a new sailboat
to
benefit
Bon Secours Hospice
in loving memory of
Mary Lindsey Hoffler
Hester. These
pendants are available in
sterling silver and 14kt gold.
The
sailboat was chosen because of the beauty and significance of the
Olde
Towne Portsmouth waterfront
and this sentiment: The
sailboat hoists her sails and begins her journey into the deep ocean. She
is an object of beauty and strength as she moves toward her destination.
Disappearing from view, voices cry,
"There, she's gone!"
But
she is only gone from our sight.
Beyond the horizon, glad voices rise
up to exclaim, "Here she comes!"
