Large
Vessels of Raku by Ramon Camarillo
We are so excited to have Ramon
with us. Born and raised in Hawaii until 1996 when he came to the East
Coast, Ramon has been astonishing the Raku world. His unique method
of throwing a 25 lb. bag of clay, in a single wheel session, into a
pot that defies the typical limitations of clay in size and thickness
is one of Ramon's trademarks.
Come meet Ramon Friday, October 8, 6-9pm.
You'll be amazed what this man has to show you.

"
New Work"
Okay, not necessarily the most creative name for this show, but we're
just naming it what it is. We have asked six of our artists to give
us new work. Sight unseen, we knew it was going to be fabulous....and
it certainly is. Susan Bastinelli,
Betty Burnell, Mary
Collier, Nancy Dooley, Piller's
Studio Clay, and Deborah Small have
decorated our gallery with their latest creations. Come see what these
girls have been up to this Summer.

Three
beautiful women, three distinctly different styes, all come together
for our next show.
Muriel Handford shows her fascinating
raku pottery, Dorothy Hudgins wows
us with her bright colorful acrylic paintings, and Gene
Jones shows us how delicate watercolors can dance on a piece of
paper. Come meet the artists Wednesday June 30th at 5-8pm. The show
will continue on until August 15th. Three more reasons to come visit
the Vincent Hester Gallery!

"Art
for All"
What a great place to shop for your holidays. Nothing beats a piece
of art to show that you've got good taste. Noone wants another tie or
pair of socks for Christmas, believe me! This year, give the gift of
art, and we've got plenty of it to offer. Our new show, "Art for
All" should actually be called "everything under $300",
since that's what we're really offering. We've got some fabulous new
artists that we're showcasing: Leonette
Adler, Bennett's Creek Pottery, Vicki Bruner, Gloria Coker, Audrey Cooke,
J. Gail Geer, Linda Gerek, Ann Kersey Hubbard, Dorothy Hudgins, Gene
Jones, Deborah Small, Lynne Sward, Yardena, and Don Watson. With these
new artists and our old standbys, we've got a great place to do your
holiday shopping.
There will be an opening reception party Friday November 21st from 5-10
pm, in conjunction with the Olde Towne Arts and Antiques Open House.
Don't miss it! Tell your friends.
