Cheryl Summers has been engaged in some form of art for most of her like. Her love of nature encouraged her to pursue a career as a floral designer winning high marks in every event she entered. Always a painter, Cheryl followed a career as a faux and mural painting artist. Further experiments in fine art painting plus her love of nature led to the development of a highly stylized mixture of color, shapes and textures which she calls an organic abstract medium. Her contemporary abstract paintingas have consumed her time and energy for the last 15 years. Since devoting full time to painting, Cheryl has won numerous awards in major shows throughout the United States. Cheryl, husband Steve and two shelties reside in Poland, Ohio on two acres of land, English perennial gardens, and Japanese Koi ponds.
