Anne McNally is a professional artist who is currently working in the style of traditional oil on canvas. Her paintings of florals, landscapes, seascapes, and interiors express her life long love and fascination with color and light. Her interior paintings are portrayed in strong hues to provide unity among the objects and her unique use of brilliant color on a large format brings a distinct energy and vibrancy to her subjects. This theme has become the hallmark of her work.
A native of Washington, D.C., Ms. McNally was introduced to art at Immaculata High School. She studied at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and has taken many formal courses in illustration, sculpture, ceramics, watercolor and oils. Ms. McNally also holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Fine Arts from Elizabeth Seton College, Yonkers, New York.
Ms. McNally is currently a member of the Rappahanock Art League and the Tidewater Artists Association.

"There
is no art form which does not explore and expose the individual. For
me,
creative expression is the sum of all parts of human emotion.
My work imposes nothing on the viewer. Titles are just that, titles....nothing
more. They are not intended to lead you anywhere bout only to provide
an entrance into the work. From there, you are on you own."
