Artist Statement:
" In my work I try to get the viewer to use his imagination and not
just take the first impression. I take the viewer on a journey through
my paintings.
The colors in my work are soft and transparent, however, at times they are
bright and bold with brush strokes that evoke movement across the canvas.
I try to carry the viewer on a journey through my paintings."
"My most memorable painting is "September 11th", a painting inspired by the
World Trade Center attack in 2001. This painting depicts in my abstract
expression the twin towers and a portion of the American flag. The original
piece is
in the collection of President George W. Bush." |
