Chris Butler has been interested in painting
most of his life. He has tried different aspects of art through his
career and finds that oil and canvas and pen and ink are his strongest
outlets. For the past ten years, he has been pursuing a spiritual
route in his pieces.
Chris studied painting and sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth University
and has had exhibits at galleries here in Virginia including a solo exhibit
at Shockoe Bottom Arts Center. He has also been granted many awards through
juried shows as well.
He enjoys painting and having opportunities to share his work with
others. He hopes to further his art career by reaching out to more galleries
and art exhibits in the future. Chris is excited about being part of
this show at the Vincent Hester Gallery.
